Cork City, Ireland

My time abroad in Cork City, Ireland gave me more than I could ever have asked for. I learned so much about the world outside of Ohio and redefined the person I’d like to be within it. I am so grateful for the people I met from all over the world and their experience and influence on my perspective just from being themselves. I am forever charmed and in love with the streets of Cork city, the live traditional music, the warm and inviting social scenes, the beautiful churches and architecture, the rich history of Irish pride, and the gorgeous parks in walking distance from my apartment. I felt so at home on the colorful and unique streets of Cork, unlike anywhere I’d been before. The culture of Ireland is one that strikes me as positive and resilient – qualities I hope to carry with me for a long, long time.
