Project Description

Dublin, Ireland

It’s hard to find the right words to describe my time abroad. To say I fell in love with Ireland would be an understatement. It really became another home for me. Everyone was friendly and warm, and I’ve made some of the most incredible friends through all my experiences there. Studying at an Irish university and travelling throughout Ireland, I learned a lot about what has shaped both the country and its people. I also had the opportunity to travel outside of Ireland, visiting France and England as well. I’ve learned a lot about myself as a person and grown a great deal through all my experiences abroad. I have gained a greater sense of independence, confidence, and self-reliance and surprised myself with how quickly I was able to adjust to life in a new country. I look forward to travelling more in the future to continue to experience new cultures. I cannot thank the Ashley Soulé Conroy Foundation enough for their support and generosity. This has been the opportunity of a lifetime! Go raibh maith agaibh! (Thank you so much!)
