Project Description

Yungaburra, Australia

My time at the School for Field Studies was thoroughly enjoyable. I learned a lot about the Australian rainforest, especially the Australian Cane toad. However, what I think I will take away most from this trip are the people I shared it with and my continued desire to strive towards a more sustainable community. I look forward to continuing my life back in America to see if I cannot get some of the Australia environmental mindset into some of conservation and sustainability programs. I hope to continue to travel and explore the wide reaches of the earth, to experience new culture and new worldview. Thank you, Ashley Soulé Conroy Foundation, for allowing me this wonderful experience of living in Australia.
