Project Description

Cork, Ireland

I feel like I have only just begun to delve into how much has changed within me as a result of living in Ireland. The feelings I encountered were unprecedented. After I returned home, I realized that I can now appreciate the smaller details of daily life. I am also better able to appreciate my family and home country. I was able to discover more about myself than I ever thought possible. I will never forget the nights I spent with my friends in the Irish pubs, our early morning runs to the local chippy, and the very first time I saw the Atlantic. I will never forget the true beauty of the Irish country side as well as the colorful personalities of its people. I fell in love with Cork and I hope to return one day. I cannot thank The Ashley Soulé Conroy Foundation enough for their support; none of this would have been possible without it.
